who does she think she is?

First off, i think i'd like to declare that i don't think i'll ever eat sushi again. My friend D. and i went out for lunch yesterday, we couldn't even walk home. Thankfully, with several stops, and long pauses, and groans, we made it. Unfortunately for me, i had work right after. Oh did i mention i got a job! I absolutely love the people i work with. i'm afraid i won't be able to update as much as i can with my new job, but i'll try my best!

Moving on. Kristin Cavallari. We all know that name, quite famous for her ..let's just say "fiery" personality. I'm not going to lie, i watch The Hills. It's like crack. Now that good old Lauren has left, Kristin is back, and with a vengeance, stirring up drama everywhere, the usual, right? I mean its total Kristin to make her first appearance at someones nuptials. Anyways, Kristin has already started filming and will be getting paid a cool $63,000 per episode. And its pretty obvious that money, has "earned" her a new wardrobe. I think she's trying (keyword: trying) to be all fashion-forward.

This is Kristin wearing Zac Posen at the Transformers 2 Premiere. I was actually so suprised when i saw this. Never have i seen Kristin (after her 15 minutes) wear a legit designer like Zac. HELLO! two days ago she was wearing a dress she picked off the clearance rack at Marshall's (American version of Winners), and if she was lucky then maybe one, ONE Herve Leger piece. see what money gets you?

I'm obsessed with buying bags. I don't know why, but do i need a reason? If theres one, just one bag i could have it would be Alexander Wang's Coco Duffle. This edgy accessory is from his fall'09 collection, with golden studs gleaming at the bottom. We first saw this bag in the hands of Mary-Kate, a true trendsetter and fashionista, back in February. This item retails for $850, which is the best price you'll get for a stunner like this. Sadly, this bag is sold-out at net-a-porter, so you could imagine a possible waiting list at Barney's, am i right?

H&M FALL'09 .

I just came across these adverts and my jaw dropped 10 ft. to the ground . How is it possible that i mention Sasha yesterday , and come across these today?

Anyways, i get a rush of excitement looking at these . Sasha looks absolutely wonderful. These were shot by the amazing Terry Richardson. I know it's not a lot, but i've already seen what is slated for release this autumn season from H&M and you guys will not be disappointed. A plethora of faux fur, lace, leather, sequins and studs. What more could a girl ask for ?

PS. mm sequin leggings . i remember telling my friend C. that i wanted a pair a while ago. She thought i was crazy . WHO'S THE CRAZY ONE NOW ?

it's been a long time, i shouldn't have left you .

well i haven't written here in a couple ..or MANY MANY months . My friend K. said i should update my blog , i think she should start a blog, she has such an amazing way with words, it just baffles me .
so let me update you on my life ;

1. i graduated , and i earned acceptance to my first choice in university and will be heading there as of fall 2009 .
2. it's summer , and i have a job .
3. i'm looking for a second job .
4. why? because i really don't think i'll make as much money from my job now because they over hired .
5. i gave up a plane ticket recently - California to be exact. i would've been spending a month in west LA with my sister and my niece and nephew , and a couple of weeks in San Diego, Sacramento and Portland .
6. it's actually killing me inside .
7. the shopping :(
8. i really want to go to NYC for at least a day , i neeeed to go shop at the flagship H&M and Topshop at SoHo.
9. living in Canada kinda sucks , the health care is free though :)
10. so i'm going through a mid-life crisis. i need advice -

a) so basically i don't own a camera . i know shocker ! well i do , its just extremely old (4 years) and its a piece of shit . so i obviously want a new camera and with my new job i'll be able to purchase one . unfortunately, i don't think i'll be able to purchase the D-SLR i've been wanting . so i'm thinking, should i just get a normal camera that would cost me around 200 dollars and get the D-SLR when i begin to work next April (when the school year is done) or should i just purchase the D-SLR now?

Edit: Just got a Canon powershot, i'm a loser for real. Whatever, I have years to get a dslr, perhaps become the next HEDI? Lol, never. He is just too great.

so yesterday was valentine's day - a holiday usually condemned (by me) all while reminding those that they are alone (like me) forever. like any other valentines day i wasn't expecting anything - i was quite wrong. my friend told be to get ready to go out to eat, and so i did a pretty bad job and wore the first thing i saw, and bolted out the door. i get in her car and she looks pretty done up, so we get in the restaurant and i was wondering why our table was long and how i hated sitting at such a "loooong" table. all of the sudden i hear a very loud "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!" and a couple of my dearest friends were there to surprise me. i couldnt have asked for anything more. i wish they knew how much i appreciated them. all in all it was a AMAZING valentines day/birthday spent with all my loves . :)

the beginning .

this is my first official blog post ! how exciting . i highly doubt there will be another in a while . actually, i take that back, i'm going to try and update as frequently as possible . second semester starts TOMORROW and you know what that means, CALCULUS - also synonymous for death . other than that it's my last year, last semester and i'm going to make the best of it :) well i'm off to watch some football, it is superbowl sunday of course .
