it's been a long time, i shouldn't have left you .

well i haven't written here in a couple ..or MANY MANY months . My friend K. said i should update my blog , i think she should start a blog, she has such an amazing way with words, it just baffles me .
so let me update you on my life ;

1. i graduated , and i earned acceptance to my first choice in university and will be heading there as of fall 2009 .
2. it's summer , and i have a job .
3. i'm looking for a second job .
4. why? because i really don't think i'll make as much money from my job now because they over hired .
5. i gave up a plane ticket recently - California to be exact. i would've been spending a month in west LA with my sister and my niece and nephew , and a couple of weeks in San Diego, Sacramento and Portland .
6. it's actually killing me inside .
7. the shopping :(
8. i really want to go to NYC for at least a day , i neeeed to go shop at the flagship H&M and Topshop at SoHo.
9. living in Canada kinda sucks , the health care is free though :)
10. so i'm going through a mid-life crisis. i need advice -

a) so basically i don't own a camera . i know shocker ! well i do , its just extremely old (4 years) and its a piece of shit . so i obviously want a new camera and with my new job i'll be able to purchase one . unfortunately, i don't think i'll be able to purchase the D-SLR i've been wanting . so i'm thinking, should i just get a normal camera that would cost me around 200 dollars and get the D-SLR when i begin to work next April (when the school year is done) or should i just purchase the D-SLR now?

Edit: Just got a Canon powershot, i'm a loser for real. Whatever, I have years to get a dslr, perhaps become the next HEDI? Lol, never. He is just too great.
